Attention!: Lexmark printers come with cartridges that can't be refilled, so carefully consider the costs of the new cartridges you have to buy once your 'starter cartridges' are empty - you might pay more than what you paid for the printer! Consider also that those first cartridges have very little ink and don't last long! HP and Canon don't practise this, which in our opinion, is unfair!
We have developed the art of ink jet cartridge refilling. 100% compatible Cartridge 'Smart Chips' for almost any Printer model
The cartridges for almost all new models of Laser Printers - no matter if HP, Lexmark or Samsung - are equipped with so called 'smart Chips'. They store information about the status of the cartridges like 'No of Pages printed, average coverage of pages printed, pages remaining, toner level' etc. They also store the information : toner level 0 when the cartridge is empty. In most cases this will prevent the cartridge from printing even after being refliled unless the chip is replaced with a new, compatible chip which will then automatically also reset all the information described above. The printer will now see the cartridge as a newly supplied cartridge!
